Well here we are in a New Year “2012″, I’m excited about all that has happened over the last twelve months and indeed all that is about to happen. A quick over view of 2011 shows the amazing and not so amazing things that make up ISA and our story so far. Working with the AFL and the Australian Hockey Team has complimented a continued association with our long term clients in both mining and corporate. New clients such as Skywest Airlines Australia and BGC has allowed us to move with a National focus. Couple all of this with numerous hospital stays from torn calf muscles to four operations due to appendix complications have made 2011 a colorful year.
The stand out achievement for us is the ground breaking arrangement we have established with Skywest Airlines Australia (Australia’s largest regional airline) which will see the completion of a Australia’s first ever Cabin Crew Flight School for Indigenous participants in February 2012. ISA and Skywest are currently working together to ensure a sustainable, mutually beneficial, Indigenous Participation program. This includes ongoing Indigenous Diversity training to all existing Skywest staff (60 so far), Work Readiness for all new Indigenous employees, Mentoring and the inclusion of an inflight Indigenous welcome to country when all planes land at Skywest destinations throughout WA.
